    Heya,..

I have a Lexus LS 400 -- and I am having a tough time figuring out how to clean, rid the Wood grain *of scratches (clear scratches), especially surrounding the shifter gate of its scratches. Almost like there is a clear coat or plate over it.. but its built into the panel.

Be great if that could be buffed out. If any of you are familiar with what I`m talking about, is there anything to get this looking better?

This picture is the only one I have online atm,.. the woodgrain shown is fairly scratch free,.. its the grain just below what is shown, around the shifter that has these clear scratches in it.

    Thanks!

Anyone know any ideas/tips/methods to get the marring/scratches off woodgrain clearcoat? Its not in the grain itself, but the outershell, if you can imagine?

It is quite common in vehicles by the shifter that have wood grain.

Bound to be some method,.. hrmm.

Thanks -- Looks good. I`m surprised no one else, esp. detailers, has had this issue on wood grain around a shifter.
