I am looking at getting a UDM from autogeek (link) I was wondering what else I would need? I have a 03 Corolla in good shape, I currently use the Mothers 3 step process. I assume I would want a few more white pads and something to remove the polish/wax after I have applied it.

In case it isn`t apparent, I`m very new at this. Last year I got into detailing my car, but was doing everything by hand.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Re: Beginner Questions

    Hi!
I am by no means an expert however I got into this as a hobby couple years back and I have had some good success. For a start up I would get at least a black, white & orange pad. For polish if you need to do some correction I would grab M105 and M205 which should cover you for most situations. For a sealant / polish I am really enjoying Poorboys Polish w/Sealant. Obviously lots of MF towels

1000x different things and opinions but that is what i have been having good results with.

Yup, his 2003 (Toyota) Corolla is now 14 (soon to be 15) years old and IF it is still on the road (which it may), probably has over 150,000 miles on it. Wonder what it looks like now??

I only say that because my `03 Subaru has 181,000 miles on it and is starting to show its age with rust spots, BUT then it`s a daily driver and has gone through 14 northern Wisconsin heavily-salted-road winters, and I TRY to take care of my vehicle, so I can guess how a `03 Corolla may look IF it has been (somewhat) car-care-appearance neglected.
