I was unable to remove some stubborn water spots and light scratches in the clear coat on my black 01 Bullitt Mustang. This was my process. Wash, clay bar, PPCL with LC white pad, Pinnacle final polish with LC orange pad, wash, top with PS wax. This worked great on 95% of the car.

Can anyone recommend a polish and pad combination to knock out these water spots?

You`ll probably need a compound and cutting pad to remove water spot etching. Megs 105 with a Flex or rotary for best results.
