I just bought a black 92 Bronco with only 49k miles.

The paint overall is in great condition, but there appears to be a haze over the whole truck. It looks like wax buildup.

There were stupid red 4x4 stickers on the front and rear fenders on both sides. When I removed the stickers you can see quite a bit of buildup around the outline. Ofcourse it looks like new paint underneath. I tried using Dawn and it did nothing. Then I tried my Zaino clay bar on the upper left corner. It didn`t do anything but scuff up both the hazed paint and the "new" paint.

I have plans to PC it with Menzerna IP and FP, but I didn`t want to do that yet since it will take me a while. In the mean time, any ideas of what this buildup is and how i can get rid of it short of polishing the whole car?

Thanks!
