Its primary all I use now with ONR thanks to Chris`s recommendations. I feel that it rinses much cleaner than the chenille mitts I was using.

They look like the Excel sponges if I had to compare.

I went today too. The ProLine sponges are not in the tile area they are in with the cleaning supplies.

If you read further down in the thread you will find that DOC informed me and that I then went back and got the right sponge. Thanks anyhow though.

No, not at all, just different brands.

Picked up three @ lowe`s today and did the wife`s truck. Used wool for the top and half of the side panels then switched to the sponge for the lower half. Wow! This sponge soaks suds and sheds grit like I never saw before. One bad thing tho, it turned my rinse bucket almost into a soap bucket it holds so much suds. I thought I would use a coupla on the lower panels...but it wasn`t necessary due to its ability to shed the grit. Thanks for the pointer guys!

A question...how to wash these things? I throw my wool in the washer and will kinda miss this.

I picked up another one at Lowes. For some reason... I`ve been there 3x this week, and had the same cashier.
Converted over to ONR & now Lowes grout sponge. Protected by 3M clear bra, and one layer of Zaino is all you need!

as i do with my sheepskin mitts, after i`m done i use the hose and massage off all the soap/dirt out as much as possible. then put it in a bucket of clean water and dunk/agitate it one last time, then gently wring it out and lay it on the grit guard to dry. good as new...

I put some dish detergent on it, and washed in the sink. I was AMAZED at how clean it came out. This is AFTER I used it to clean brake dust (I`ll be using the sponge for wheels exclusively now).

Thanks for the thread! I went and picked up two Pro-Line sponges from Lowe`s tonight. Quite a bit softer than the QEP GS that I got from Home Depot, and a bit smaller as well, which I like. I am anxious to try them out tomorrow.
