Well, I have a few scratches on my bumper that are down to the plastic. They`ve been there since I bought the car. It looks like the previous owner barley swiped a pole and it took the paint off. It`s right on the corner.

I`m thinking about layering some touch up paint on there, then wet sanding and following that with my PC.

    Few Questions:

the scratches are on the corner, will it be too awkward to work with?

Will my DA get the sanding marks out? (PC 7424)

The most aggressive combo i have is the orange LC cutting pad and PB SSR 2.5, will this be enough?

what grit and brand sand paper should i use?

do i need to soak the paper over night?

    thanks guys

Will my DA get the sanding marks out? (PC 7424) Depending on the grit you finish up with, yes.

The most aggressive combo i have is the orange LC cutting pad and PB SSR 2.5, will this be enough? Highly doubtful. I suggest getting some HTEC, Powergloss, or something more aggressive.

what grit and brand sand paper should i use? Meguiars uni-grit 2000-3000

do i need to soak the paper over night? You can if you want, a few hours will be significant.

    thanks guys
