I was hesitant in the beginning, but am now definatly comfortable applying pressure and using the grout sponge.
When people ask me what I use I explain to them I use a grout sponge, and everyone gets the *** look.
A+ for Grout Sponge.

I used to get those looks. Glad it worked for you.
I hear complaints about not being able to get them into nooks/crannies but I don`t have any problem doing just that with the softer sponges as they compress pretty easily.

Rob:
Do Lotus` have soft clear coats?
I`m going to give the GS a try today, assuming I can find one at HD. Trying it on a DD. Why do I think my daughter will drop it on the ground and use it. Lecture time.
That`s for sharing I`ll be at Home Depot in the morning.

Totally subjective.
Looking forward to hearing what you think after trying it on your (very cool) car!

Just idle curiosity regarding the Exige. Often thought about it for a track car. Nothing more sinister.

That`s really where it shines: on the track!
It`ll knock the fillings out of your teeth driving around town though.
For me the real GS test will be winter grime ONR washes. I have 4 layers of UPGP on my 4 Runner and the GS was just sliding over the surface. I plan to UPGP my BMW next week. I have the week off between jobs:woot2: :woot2:
Since I have a new bottle of ONR, I really am going to try the sponges. Sounds too good to pass up.
If you don`t stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

Just trying to keep my family`s cars clean.
Picked up two gs from hd today. Can`t wait to try them out.
I bought the QEP sponge from Home Depot a few days ago.
Last week I used ONR for the fist time with a Chenille mitt. I have to say, ONR is simply amazing! My car was gleaming way more than it did after a conventinal wash (Meguire`s gold class shampoo). It actually looked like it was waxed. Can`t wait to try the grout sponge with it this weekend!
I bought these on Friday..have yet to use them. Is this what you are using SM?

Hopefully this will answer a couple questions that I got in PM`s as well.
I don`t recall what brand the packaged sponges I purchased were. I have *never* bought a single packaged sponge. My *goto* sponge is the loose Superiorbilt sponge. I guess you could say that that is my reference sponge and where my love and comments come from.
