No, you misunderstood what I was saying. My question was "But why do you think you are experiencing less marring with the GS than a LW mitt"?

I am not doubting what you have said about having less marring. My question is what it is about the LW mitt that causes more marring, or what it is about the GS that causes less?

I was finally able to use my packaged grout sponge purchased from the HD here in Perrysburg, OH. It worked really well. No marring on my black mica paint. I used ONR to wash as normal. No ill effects what so ever.

Also, for those in OH looking for the unpackaged grout sponges, they can be found at Anderson`s. They are exactly like the packaged one IMO. $2.19

I get marring with LW when using ONR and I don`t with the GS.

Ah you mean what reason. I have no idea why. I guess it`s that the GS is a less aggressive media.

Just wondering rob. Have you tried the grout sponges. You don`t need to try it on your car. You can try it on a test panel. That`s what I did.

I did try it, and didn`t like it. Not that I noticed marring or anything. I just prefer the way my LW mitt feels/works better.

Oh ok. Then just keep using it. No use of changing if you don`t feel comfortable with it, but how come your in this thread ???

That should be obvious from my questions.

Do you think only people who sing the praises of the GS should be allowed to ask questions or make comments here?

much more fun using the GS for car duty than actual grout

I think SpoiledMan is some kinda GS sales rep reaping early retirement from the sales
