I just got a 1993 Emerald green audi UrS4 last saturday. The car was in bad exterior shape, and i finally got around to what i thought would be a full detail yesterday...

the paint needed to be clayed...BAD - so i did with meg`s OTC stuff, and it had no effect! i glided the clay over several parts of the paint for like 10 mins each, and alot of contaminants came off, but its still terriable. Do i need more aggressive clay? which Brand?

The new elastofoam blocks ought to do the trick. Megs sells one, Ultima sells one, and bodyshop supply stores often have a pile of generic ones for 10-20 bucks.
Once you buff black, you never go back
