Hello, I am new here. There seem o be so many products out that I am getting confused. I just bought a mitsubishi evolution 8 and I want to make sure it shines. The car is bright yellow. I was wondering if you could reccomend a lis of prouducts for me. I don`t mind mixing brands if one has a better product than another. I will spend what ever it takes. The paint is in great shape but I can not make it look wet, deep and glossy. I want to get the best finish I can. Thanks in advance

I really enjoy the Ultima Paint Prep Guard. It really brings out the glossiness to the paint. It`s a new product so far it`s been very promising. I`d definitely look into that. I know other members here are very happy with Zaino as well. It`s your judgement there, but do a search and see.

If you want to try Ultima the new sampler package is ready for pre-order:

    Ultima Paint Care Sampler Kit

That should give you enough to get started; Ultima Paint Guard Plus, Ultima Paint Prep Plus, Ultima Detail Spray Plus, and a single packet sample of Ultima Paint Guard Wash.

If you order that kit you can also order the Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus for $10 off. It will show up as an option after you place the sampler package in the shopping cart.

I highly recommend looking at the `Guide to Detailing` that is on here for all of your basic questions.

`I was thinking about getting the sampler pack, but it\`s hard to belive that it could do as good or better than somthing like the sonus kit that is offered; which is one of the other options I am looking at. I like it becasue it comes with P21S and a few other goodies. Here is a lnk if you are not familiar with this kit. Sonus Perfect Shine Kit`

Zaino makes some great products and the sizes are just right for the guy with a few cars.

The ultimate shine starts with a proper machine polishing. Then use a quality sealant or wax of your choice. I know it`s vague, but sometimes you have to experiment until you find what you like. I use zaino now, but have used tons of other products which all produced great results, some had better "looks" than zaino, but lasted only a couple of weeks. Zaino lasts months and the look is just fine in eyes. You may want easy application, durability or good shine. Some products have it all some don`t. But a good polish is the best way to start, then experiment with LSP`s

ultimate for me would be zaino and werkstatt for a sealant

    souveran,zymol,svisswax for waxs

All depends on your goals nothing will give you the look without prep so make sure the car is clayed and imperfections are polished out.
