Does anyone know if there is any benefit, in either appearance or durability, to applying multiple layers of Zaino CS beyond the first one or two? CS is so quick and easy to apply it would be reasonable to apply once a week for a few weeks, and put on 5, or 6, or 7 coats. However, this could get an expensive after a while, and if anyone has a definitive yes/no answer I`d appreciate hearing about it.:nixweiss
Absolutely, positively, 100% - Not Sure!

    And suffering from CRS.

IMO you can extend out 3x of Z2/5pro w/ ZFX for at least 2 more months when using CS once right after the initial Z2/5pro application. Try it once a month IMO and that should keep you good for a long time.

    I agree.

If you don`t have the Z5 and only have the CS, then wash, claybar and CS it. Then wait a day and do it again. I`d do that 5 days a week and the durability will blow you away.

It is recommended that a layer of CS every 3-4 months will maintain "maximal" protection until the next complete prep. There are approximately 30-40 applications / bottle in which case equates to 2.5 years of product if you apply a layer every 3-4 months. In 2.5 years I am sure CS will have undergone several up-grades and one will be desiring the newest and greatest version. Sal never ceases to develop and improve his product lines even when improvement doesn`t seem possible.

In other words, CS as often as you like. There are no ill-effects as long as the finish is still in great shape. :xyxthumbs

I wouldn`t recommend doing more than 1 layer of CS per day.

I got tired of doing layers of Z5p and Z2p every month. I`ve been doing 1 layer of polish once a month and CS every 2 months or so.

I have never tried CS after a Z7 wash. I might try that today instead of using Z-8.
Converted over to ONR & now Lowes grout sponge. Protected by 3M clear bra, and one layer of Zaino is all you need!

I agree. Plus, It is hard to not apply too much. My first application on my Corvette was too heavy and took a couple of days to settle down. I was sure that it was going to stay streaky and was sorry that I had not stuck with Z5/Z2. After a couple of wipe downs with z6 to clear the streaks over 2-3 days, I topped with Z8 and was impressed. Later I used ZAIO and CS on my Denali which is big enough to keep me from detailing it often. It is great stuff. Took way less than an ounce to do the Denali - I found 1 spritz on the pad and 1 on each panel did the job BTW.

To add to the CS approach - using ZAIO followed by CS yields terrific results. I used ZAIO with my PC which was very easy and fast. You may use a little more ZAIO with the PC, but on a big car, the extra material expense is worth it. ZAIO is a very good product and the two together yield terrific results. My 5 year old Denali looks new.
    Regards from Arizona,

the key to CS is to apply thin. 1 mist and spread it out.
