Anyone use this? They sell this at the local marine shop, and i am trying to find something to take out some scratches/moderate swirling in my car. I need something more aggresive than Merenze IP. Hows this stuff work? How is its cut with a PC?

I think it`s too aggressive for PC-I think you need a rotary.

If it`s anything like the previous version (3M PI-III Extra Cut 05936) then a) it`s rotary only and b) it`s so aggressive that, well, you`d better be both pretty experienced and careful.

I used it and it is a rotary only polish and is very aggressive. This is for the long time experienced users that really know what they are doing. I would not recommend it for a newbie.

This sounds like the 3M 50077 trizact compound...

I have been using this with my Toptool with very good results. But then my TT is much more powerful then a simple PC

I use the imperial microfinishing compound medium cut followed by finesse-it then then the SMR.

I`m sure there are several great lines of product out there but i`ve always used 3m for correction and deep polishing. Just takes to much time to learn how to work with other products. I save my experiementation for top coats and glazes etc.
