Infiniti`s Scratch Shield paint?

I searched and didn`t find anything about this... I was just reading Motor Trend`s article on the new EX35 and saw this blurb

Another first is Infiniti`s Scratch Shield paint, designed with a special clearcoat designed to "heal" itself should it become damaged.

Has anyone heard more about this at all?

Hm.. Sounds interesting. Is this the kind of clearcoat that "heals" with the heat from the sun?

I can`t find anything online about it. The only hits that google comes up with for Infiniti Scratch Shield (that are remotely related at all) are all copies of the EX35 press release. There`s nothing I can find that actually explains anything about the paint.

Has anyone out there who`s in Japan worked on an X-Trail with it yet? Or, I guess anywhere else the X-Trail is sold, although I don`t know if only the JDM version that got the Scratch Shield paint.
