I have an RV that needs some TLC. I bought it last fall and i`m really wanting to bring some sort of shine back to her.

The White fiberglass has faded a bit and has oxidation on about 50% of it and it has "yellowed" a bit.

My first question is, can the white in the fiberglass be brought back? And what product would be best to take the oxidation of of this? I`m figuring since its a `98 Class C that is a single stage gell coat (i could be wrong). I already know that this will take me quite a while, so i`m going to try to work in sections but i also want to get it right the first time. the last thing i want to do is give the yellowed area a great shine only to find out that I could have gotten it back to or close to the original white shine.

I have a PC and every single poorboys product imaginable (I haven`t branched out product wise just yet)

The only thing I ever used on fiberglass was XMT 360. Works wonders on light oxidation.

I never tried SSR`s on fiberglass.

I`ve yet to see any DA on the market work well with gelcoats/Fiberglass. Even though I`ve been yelled at before I will say in this case you will need a good rotary, Wool pads in abundence, and Meg`s Marine/RV line Oxidaztion remover, Pure wax, and polish. Probably a good black streak remover as well.

Poorboy`s Pro Polish would be your best bet. It is a strong chemical polish that`ll eat through the oxidation. As for the yellowing, that is a little trickier....
