I just bought an Envoy and there are plastic pieces around the window(not the rubber pieces/ trim) . What do put on them to keep it from fading / protecting them.
Thanks

If it`s smooth plastic any good sealant should work. If it`s textured plastic I`d suggest Tropicare non silicone dressing.
I just use my regular LSP. On the Blazer`s hard plastic surfaces I`m using Collinite. Those might be similar to the pieces on the Envoy.
I`ll second the Collinite. I`ve used Insulator Wax before with great results. I also really like Plexus for those hard plastics.
I use either Klasse AIO or Clearkote Vanilla Moose on those pieces.
Thanks for the replys.. going to try ex-p . That is the only sealant i have hehe.. I might try jet seal out .
For things like this, I always recommend going for an AIO product that is useful elsewhere as well (kAIO comes to mind). This way you don`t need a million different products to perfect plastic/metallic trim, glass, rims, etc... all of which can be conveniently dealt with using kAIO
^^^ is Poorboy`s PwS an AIO that would work for this?
PWS is an AIO also I believe. I dont have AIO but do have PWS. I am going to try it. Accumulator I also have a 96 Jimmy. There is hard plastic around the back side window close to the roof that just turned rough and white over time on my Jimmy . I am just looking for a way to protect my Envoy so it doesnt happen to it.

The plastic on the Blazer was also oxidized white when I got it (it was a back-of-the-lot junker when I picked it up). I polished said plastic with the same 1Z Polishes that I used on the paint, and it turned out great. You might want to give that approach a try, I was *very* pleased with how it turned out.
