Hey guys - so I know how to do rash repair on alloys, and have done it a number of times with success, but this one is a bit of a conundrum. The wheels I am trying to repair have a coated aluminum lip, so I can`t just add 3m super red and paint with wurth. The rash is not bad, but it *is* into the aluminum - so what are the options? Sand down and polish the entire lip? Refinish?

    Thanks.

Picus, seeing as how you`re in th GTA, you could try calling Precision Rim Repair and talk to them; they are very helpful. Even if it comes down to refinishing, they charge about 50-80 to refinish an entire rim. In this case it might be less as its only a small portion of the rim.
