I just got a white LC 5.5" polishing pad but the velcro is peeling off on one side. I`m wondering can this be glued back together somehow?

I received the pad as a free bonus with another product that I bought so I don`t think I should bother returning it.

I would like to use the pad, is there anyway to fix it? It`s just peeling a little bit on one part of the pad, could I just go ahead and use it as is?

I`ve used Goop and it`s still holding a year later.
