Just short of glass polish, are you guys using *fine cut* polish to polish your glass ?

My combo to date is Autoglym Glass Polish followed by Aquapel.

Seems like you guys don`t even buy/use a glass polish but regular glass polish and then throw on a coat of Z or AIO on the glass. I`m inclined to try polishing the glass and then leave it alone.....

Dunno if you guys have that same fuzzy feeling when you`re driving with a CRYSTAL CLEAR glass....I mean so clear that it feels like it`s not even there ;-)

I actually used the Autoglym for the first time today. Not sure if i can fix my glass though it is really pitted from highway driving

Mostly its einszett 1 litre glass polish, sonus or I`ll get out ultra gloss super polish and follow with acrylic sealants and then finish with hydro or collinite (outside only)

Autoglym doesn`t have the power that I want plus it`s powdery and smells really bad

I had a severe waterspot problem with the 88 Mark VII I am currently detailing. I was finally able to get them looking like new by using 0000 steel wool and Megs NXT. The glass now looks as clean as the day they were installed from the factory.

what about polishing glass to remove wiper scratches and watermark etching?

Like polishing paint with bad defects, we would need a rotary, at what rpms and pad and polish/compound should we use?

for wiper scratches (deep) and scratches you can feel, you would need cerious oxide (available from the polishing shop in uk) and probably US sources as well and small pads

I usually just leave it up to novus as they have all that gear and are pro`s at it

if a customer wanted it, I just get novus to come to the shop.
