I was detailing my buddys roommates PT Cruiser today and my friends 3 year old daughter came running over as I was claying the car and was all excited and said "O`SHEA! You`re cleaning the car! let me help!"

Long story short, she`s now an official employee of my detailing company. She actually picked up on how to do it pretty quickly! I gave her a spray bottle with water/wash soap in it and a little piece of clay, and she did exactly what you`re supposed to! True she didnt really get the whole area she was working on, but hey, for someone who probably didnt even know what she was really doing, I`d say she was doing pretty good!

Heck give her the rotary with a 100 grit sand paper on it and then finish off with some steel wool and paint thinner!

Cute as a button. I bet her name is `Petunia`, just like the pretty little flower.

Save those pics, archive them on a CD and then blow them up to poster size and display them on her wedding day at the reception.

20 years from now, she`s going to make a wonderful wife, one that knows how to clay.

Well I have three kids and none of them have done that. They will occasionally polish & wax cars playing, and today my three year old was talking about polishing exhaust tips all afternoon!

    Very cute!

    haha thanks all

She really is the coolest little kid I`ve ever known, she loves cars (and trains) and she does things like this all the time, its a riot (not detailing, but things that are this funny/cute)

Probably the funniest part about the whole thing was how she was using the spray bottle.... obviously her hands arent NEARLY big enough to hold and squeeze the trigger in one hand, so she`d kinda hit the sprayer with her other hand and a little bit would spray out, nearly hitting her face, she`d jump back, then do it again and start claying, LOL

BTW the car turned out pretty good. Just washed/clayed it and waxed it with Meguiars NXT, gotta finish the interior tonight...
