Can you use wax on your front windshield, and what would you recommend?

Every car I do gets the same work done to the galss:

    1. Polish with KAIO

    2. Follow with AW

Never had a customer call to see why his/her wipers are chattering. In fact most of them call to say how cool it is that the water seems to "run away" from the glass. They always ask if it`s RainX and I tell them it`s not and that it`s a product that I have that I will be more than happy to "touch up" whenever they want. Got to keep them thinking of me!!

I used rain X several years ago a few times. However when I used the wipers, they smeared as they went back and forth, a Royal PITA. I totally quit using the stuff. Haven`t tried anything since except some miracle type blades that turned out to be worse than the Rain X.

However I did find something that works like magic and has never let me down even once, doesn`t skip, chirp or smear and leaves a beautiful clear window. Anco standard rubber wipers!

I generally prefer Rain-x to LSPs on my windshield because it builds up less.

Wiper blades are made by Robert Bosch and no one else.

Scratch the AJT comment in the post above; applied it Sunday and today it`s worn out on the windshield. Still beads nicely on the paint and side windows though. Back to the Rain-x.

You can, I personally don`t like to; I`ve had nothing but problems with products on the windshield. I think your better off keeping your windshield clean using a claybar and a good window cleaner.

While we are talking about windshields I thought I would pass this along. I was in WM today and it seems that "Michelin" is now carrying wiper blades for the princely sum of $15.00 per blade vs $4 or $5.00 for Anco.

Rumor has it that they communicate with the tires by telepathy and send vibes to the tires that play a sort of melody: sucker born every minute, sucker born every minute, sucker born every minute, oh well I guess you get the idea !

I have never seen Michelin blades, but my Bosches cost more than that (because I got the Icons not the standard ones). Worth every penny compared to the Ancos.
