I tried zaino CS just to see if I would like it. Well, I do like it and now I want to start all over with a fresh coat of Z5-pro topped with Z-CS. Would dawn remove the old layer of Z-CS?

    Thanks guys.

Did you claybar it at all??

If you did, just go right over it with Z5 and another shot of ZCS, they are all compatable with each other.

If not claybar`d, then rewash with Dawn, claybar and do the Z5 and ZCS.

    that`s what I would do.

Prep your surface again with ZAIO or ZPC if you want to start over.

Do you have to remove the CS before using the Z5? I thought all the Z stuff was interlayerable (like my new word?), other than the cleaner/abrasive stuff (Z-PC and Z-AIO).

If surface was already prepped prior to your testing of CS, just apply Z5 over the established CS. Top with CS.

No real need to remove CS. If you are prepping the surface, this procedure will remove old LSP (CS).

No you don`t need to remove the CS. Just layer either Z5 or Z2 over the existing layrer of CS, but for max protection you should have CS as the last coat.
Converted over to ONR & now Lowes grout sponge. Protected by 3M clear bra, and one layer of Zaino is all you need!

Wow! you guys are quick in responding! Thanks. I claybarred last year and I don`t let my car get very dirty so I`ll just go over the existing layer of Z2 and CS. I don`t have Z-PC or ZAIO.

As others have said, just top the CS with Z5. It is all "interlayerable." (good word setec)

So "interlayerable" is the new word here.
