    I made this chart, it was intened for use with the CCS pads on the Porter cable DA and MENZERNA products, but you all can feel free to make changes, I just pulled all this info from diffrent places, anyone does have a combo that works better please let me/ us know.

    Everything other than the glaze/wax/sealants need to be run at a higher speed on the PC to have any success. Some people get away with running the PC on speed 5 for correction, but I personally feel it`s a waste of time to run it at anything lower than 6 when you`re attempting to fix marring.

    Yeah that`s what I thought, I thought speed 6 was ideal.



    Also, what is the green pad and how does it differ from the others?



    And, when should you use power gloss? and does it deplete the life of the paint? does it damage the paint?

    green pad is for use with "german" cars paint its polishs and cuts at the same time according to the web site where I got it. I love it works great. I do tend to use 6 speed setting alot more than I thought I would so yea any more thouhgts and info would be great.

    PC @ 6 is stressfull for pads/backing plates. If it doesn`t work right @ 5 than go for a rotary or don`t complain pads get damaged, specially when loaded of polish :nixweiss
