Can anyone suggest some reasonably priced QD/QEW/ONR MF wash towels? Or perhaps another media to use instead?

    Thanks much!

I buy a 12pack of MF towels from Costco for 9.99

I used to be paying $2.50 PER MF towel, and these are about 90% as good!

The orange vrooms are indeed nice and I got mine for $8-10 for 12. I have a very small amount of linting with a couple of mine but no big deal.

The big Vroom drying towels (used to be blue, hear they`re yellow now) make great QD towels since one side is very plush.

i have two of the large Vroom yellow drying towels...the plush side is perfect for the final pass after hitting the ONR`ed panel with the orange ones. i think they were $5-$6 each...good deal.

If you can get into Sams Club, check out the 25 pack for $11. They`re actually pretty decent MFs.

That`s a 24 pack for $9.39. They are so cheap that if you get dirt in one, its off to the trash can with no sobbing. Heck, they are so cheap I have though about just tossing them instead of washing.:p

I got some blue MF towels from Wal-Mart and the orange / white ones from Target, I can`t tell any difference. Both work just fine.

As far as I can tell, Sams Club 25 pack(blue&white) are the same as the walmart towels. I noticed yesterday, walmart now has the 25 pack for about the same price as sams. So, you can buy the blue 8 pack or the 25 pack. I use them for paint when new, then they get demoted to door jambs and glass. I used one on a dvd with some plastic cleaner and I expected some marring, but nothing. I still keep an eye for decent MF.

Can anyone tell the difference between the looped MF and split?

I`ve used the Target Vroom MF`s for ONR. The thicker solid grey ones work best, but even the thinner ones work, I just have to use more of them.

yes they are both junk(ok for door jambs and rims but not my paint)

now if you get the orange preminum ones from Targrt you will see a big difference

    in thickness and quality!
