I have some deep scratches ( nails cannot feel them) that will not come out with
Sonus SFX 1 or Poorboys SSR 2.5 using a yellow pad with a DA. It is aTappis
blue Cayenne.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Well, they can`t be that deep if you can`t feel them...I`m guessing that Porsche paint is pretty hard, although I thought we heard some stories about the black being really soft. You can use SSR3 but that will leave some bad marring that you will need to correct with 2.5 or something.
Other more aggressive polishes/compounds suggested for this kind of thing have been Menzerna PowerGloss and the Hi-Temp compounds, although I haven`t used any of these.
I`m sure some will advise just going rotary, as well.
SSRI 2.5 won`t get deep scratches out with a PC for me. I have to use a rotory with Menzerna`s Power Gloss, or High Temp Extreme Cut, something like that. You just need to step up to a heavier polish. For me, 2.5 and a DA just get out the super fine swirls left by incorrect washing techniques.
Just in case some suggests a Rotary. I should have noted that I have no experience with a Rotary and will not take a chance on killing my paint.
Thanks

Oh, this is your personal vehicle. I feel your pain! I was in your position as well, and was advised to try the PG and Hi-Temp. I did buy the range of Menzerna, from PG to Blackfire Finishing Polish...but I was too mentally defeated and haven`t used them. Then to top it off I got rear-ended.

I thank you all for you comments and advise.
Anyone else.
