Young detailer in training!!

I pulled my truck in the garage tonight to change the oil, when my 3 yr old son came out and wanted to help. About halfway through the oil change he decided he wanted to clean up his power wheel. I have a few empty quick detailer bottles that I put water and a couple of drops of Meg GC in, I tell him that they are his "special soap". So he grabbed them and a old towel and went town. I snapped a couple of pics and wanted to share!

That kid will benefit in more ways than one from spending time with you. Not only is he learning to take care of the things he owns, but he is also learning to emulate his dad and that is more important than anything. Good for you for taking time to spend with him.

Thanks Don, I wouldnt have it any other way. I spend every second I can with him. He helped pour the oil in the truck!!

But what did he use for an LSP? Looks like he dressed the tires ok...but the wells are a little rough...

He likes Nattys blue, because it smells like bubble gum!! Hes in training so cut him some slack on the wheel wells! :lol

Haha, thats so cool. I can remember cleaning my power wheels. I always used oil to make it shine..

About the pouring the oil in, I can remember when me and my dad did that. He always let me pour it in no matter how long it took me or how much a spilled. Its always best to have patience with them and not yell when they do things wrong. But then again if you let them get away with alot they wont take care of their things. Seems like youve started him out good though!! :kewlpics

I always try to be patient with him. They are like little sponges at this age. He was so excited about helping with the oil. He ran in tol his mom that he helped change the oil in da da`s truck!! I just walked over and hugged him!!
