is it ok to finish the clay job like today in the afternoon where there`s no more sunshine and then do the polishing tomorrow the same time of the day?

i asked, since i just have a partial shaded driveway, some sun can go thru.

Do you plan on parking the car in a garage or is it going to be outside? If it`s going to be outside, you may want to QD the car or just give it a good wash. Polishing with dirt particles can potentially mar your paint if you aren`t careful.

If it`s going to be sitting outside, I`d wash it. No reason to take a chance on dirt getting on the car (in my driveway, 1 day is plenty of time for dirt to settle on the car).
