heya i`m new to the detailing scene..

i am about to go to college as well, and i just bought a brand new 07 camry se and need some good protection for it:

can you tell me some good products to use on it and protect it for the semester.

also where to find them, guessing autozone?

oh ya the color of the car is metallic silver, it only has 200 miles on it atm.

If you have a carquest in your area get you some duragloss products. Highly praised around these parts.

I love the new camrys. As far as where to get the products Auotzone isn`t bad but you might want to check out if you have Murray`s near you. They have a bigger selection that Autozone does at least where I live.

on the silver camry i washed the car the used Klasse AIO which is a paint cleaner with an acrylic sealant in it

then i used Collinite 845 witch is a semi liquid wax with very good durability and the car looked very gloss and wet

I think that combo would be the simplest with excellent durability and look great you should get 4 months of protection that youir looking for

on my car I used Fk`s 2180 sealant X3 and fk`s pink wax X3 because i had just gotten the products and wanted to test them. I think I will try something different to try to get my flake to pop more next time

Boom, you`ll do yourself a favor if you actually read the posts here. I`ll admit, I saw your post on 03graphicrt`s thread about taking his car to college and decided not to bother answering because another poster and I had just answered the same question just a couple posts above your`s in that thread. Now you`re asking atticdog a question about what order to use products on that already he said he used on seperate cars.

I`m glad to hear you want to take care of your new car, that`s the Autopian way. There`s loads of great info and knowledge here, I hope you truly benefit from it.
