    This is under the hood on a black M35:







    I detailed a black G35 a few weeks ago and as others have reported the clear is on the soft side.



    Do they have different clears? I figured they would be the same.

    I had a 2001 nissan maxima last year with the same sticker, the clear was a little hard

    Nissan seems to have been using those stickers for years. My brother`s 98 Maxima has one on it. I think they started putting them on there for body shops more than anything else to let them know which cars were clear coated. Doesn`t make much sense now that almost everything has a clearcoat. I guess they have a bunch of the stickers left though. BTW, on every Nissan we ever owned, the clear was always very soft.

    This black M35 seems about the same as the black G35 I had a few weeks ago.
