I was just playing around with the lake country white, propel 2 blue and propel 2 orange pad with einzett 1z metallic. With the blue and white pad I noticed that it left really light marring, but with the orange it left almost no marring at all. Now the 1z mp is a really light polish and almost no abrasives. On last test, I took a foam applicator pad and worked the polish in by hand and left close to no marring, so I`m stumped. Wonder why the orange light cutting pad left the best finish? Any thoughts?

Have the pads been used before? Perhaps they had some dirt or residue in them.
