haha alrite guys well i bought a set of chrome rims for my pathfinder in the spring of 05. well i decided to leave them on for the winter because the stocks were driving me nuts looking like absolute crap.. so i tried my best to clean them consistantly, but it was usually wayyy to cold out and its hard to get up the energy to go an do it honestly. well apparently salt is not very benefical to chrome basically the entire inner chromed rim where the dust collects (inside not outside) is pitted... as in the chrome has formed small holes where the chrome has basically rubbed off... well i took all my wheels off today. i cleaned first, then used MR. Buffer polish which basically cleared up EVERYTHING amazingly. I layered it with 2 layers of EX P and called it a night. BUT the pitting is still there an theres nothing i can do. So basically unless your going to be outside everynight cleaning your rims, i DO NOT reccomend keeping chrome wheels on in the winter
