I was getting a little practice with some new products(new to me)and decided to try them on an old ranger. Gotta love ford paint....thin,cheap,and single stage! Truck is not finished at all. The only finished part is the hood in the pic where it shows the front end of the truck and not the pic of the B4 and after shot. The hood b4 and after shot was clayed and polished but no sealant or wax.

p.s. sorry for the links...not sure how to get the images posted within the thread :grrr

Thank you White95Max! I did that but I ended up with links..... :furious:

LightngSVT: Step 1-I washed truck with Sonus shampoo(freebie from Autopia-care-care). Step 2-Clayed with Megs QD and sonus green clay. Step 3-Polished with 3m compound (walmart) using a Sonus SFX-1 pad. Step 4-polished using 3m finish restorer(Walmart) using a Sonus sfx-2 pad. Step 5-Hit hood with the Klasse Twins. Step 6-I tested Natty`s blue on the left side of the hood and P21s on the right side of the hood....to see the difference. It`s been said that Natty`s blue is better on darker colors cause it is a darker wax.....I noticed no difference. However the SG was very effective and brought alot of depth to the paint! So that was cool. I also played with SFX-1/2 compound/polish. Those are great products. On the sides of the truck I believe I only used PBssr-3....nothing else just because I got lazy and started detailing other cars instead of practicing on the Ranger

    :lol

The problem is that you posted links to your gallery, not individual photos. This is the correct link:
