Do these really work? Got hit by a flying tire/rubber on the highway. It left a skid mark on the headlight assy. Will these products remove it? If not, what would you suggest?

I cant speak for if it will remove the rubber but I can say that the best product Megs makes is Plastix(sp?) I have gotten virtually everything out with it. I use it with the PC set on 6 with a green LC pad.

Acetone will remove the rubber. I use high solutioned paint thinner at work also. I work at a rubber factory. Plastix or flix works great on cleaning headlight assemply

Acetone will remove the rubber, but I`d be concerned if your headlights have any type of plastic/polycarbonate coatings. Acetone will dissolve many different types of plastic so I`m not sure it would be safe if you had these types of headlights.

You might want to try an orange/d-limonene type of degreaser first and if that doesn`t work then maybe consider something more aggressive.

I`ll try the PlastX first and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
