I just picked up a `99 4Runner in great condition. As far as I can tell, there are only a few problem areas. My biggest concerns are the water stains in the sunroof glass and the previous owner`s attempt to stop a leak (which wasn`t even coming from there). Any advice on how to remove the water stains and whatever that stuff is? Thanks.

    Hope the image works.

For the water spots get some speed clay and the glass abrasive applicator from Autogeek. you can find it under the glass section they have. Works very well and I`ve used it successfully a dozen times on some badly water stained windows.

for the white gunk, you might be able to use a variety of methods. try dampening a MF (Micro Fiber Towel) and just rubbing it away. OR, try hitting it with something like a QD (Quick Detailer)and an MF. Or, spray with PBTR (Poor Boys Trim Restore) and then an MF. One of these methods should work.

good luck and hope i`ve helped :wavey

Thanks, MachB5. I`ll try out your suggestions when I get the chance.
