I picked up a spider (a big fat huntsman) in the country and couldn`t get it off before it ran into the bumper. 1000kms and 2 washes later, the webs keep coming back. I know its still there, because I saw it run across my bonnet the other day.

What are your techniques for removing spiderwebs and their respective spiders?

    Thanks

If you can`t keep it alive by spraying with a water jet then the only other option I have is a surface spray. :nixweiss

    BTW, where do you live?

Yeah I`ve tried spraying/sheeting water into all crevices but its still there.

I`m in Melbourne also, I should update my info.

I thought you might be in Australia when you mentioned "huntsman". I believe its native to our land. :lol

Where in Melbourne are you? I live in Camberwell and our detailing factory is in Carrum Downs.

Heh yeah, at least its not aggressive like a red-back :nervous: And would surface spray affect the paint in any way?

I`m also in the eastern suburbs, Doncaster. Thats a fair way to travel to work down in Carrum. I just picked up a Hitachi RAO for Christmas, so I`m getting into this detailing big time now I now notice myself looking at other cars and seeing bad paint work.

Surface spray should have no effect on paint; but the solvents will remove your LSP.

Yeah, its going to be hot! I`m thinking of going to to the cricket at the MCG...it`s free entry on the last day, and would like to see Australia bury South Africa.

I would normally go to the beach in this weather but I`m originally from Perth, so the beaches here scare me.

If you ever need any help with your car, PM me and I`ll be glad to help. :up
