A freshener right? Get a powdered laundry detergent you like and put a small scoop of it into the center of some cheesecloth and tie it up into a ball, then place that inside a plastic bag but leave it open. Set that somewhere in the car and it`ll smell for at least a month or two depending on the weather/humidity. If it starts to lose smell, shake the ball up a little and it should be like new again.

    My preferred detergent is Gain

I use the Glade scented oil for cars. I like the vanilla one, and it seems to last a good while. However, the little holder thing is a bit conspicuous.

I think the new Eagle One arometrics are great. They last long, and they give you the choice of how strong you want the scent.... for a nose like mine, the minimum is perfect. Get them in any advance auto, autozone, pep boys or Murrays :up

I use a product called "wonderwafers` in the -clean car- scent. I place one under the front passenger seat and one underneath in the rear of the drivers seat. They smell great and last for weeks. www.Detailnet.com you get about 250 wafers for $20.
