    Hi Guys,

I wax my car once a month with p21s carnuaba wax.

In between waxes after I`ve washed the car, can I use Zaino Z8?

    Yep. Z8 is a great all-round QD.

I guess you could, but why?

I`m going to say that Z-8 is more like a spray sealant than a qd. I think of Z-6 as Zaino`s qd. You probably won`t get the best longevity trying to get the Z-8 to stick to a pure wax. Since you`re using the P21S, I`d stick with a booster that actually contains carnauba like OCW or maybe the new Jeff Werkstatt`s Carnauba Jett.

Sonus Detailing Spritz works well over P21S also - it has the same carnauba, I guess. But ya, if you already have Z8 definitely us it, you won`t have any problems and it will look great.

My buddy at work said try 4 Star Ultimate Gloss Enhancer.

Which product do you think will give a better just waxed look, Zaino Z8 or 4 Star?

Since I have a full bottle of Z8 (courtesy of a customer), I guess I will find out how well it does over carnaubas. Seems to work very well over Detailer Pride`s new sealant, FWIW.

Crystal Mist & QuickShine would be my choice over carnaubas. For some strange reason, I`ve only used Z6& Z8 over Z5/Z2 Pro purely for the fact that Zaino bonds best to Zaino.

I tried Z8 over RMG and Souveran and lots of coats of Crystal Mist and it streak so bad you could finger paint in it. I don’t think Z8 likes all the oils and fillers in RMG and PS that said Z8 looks great over Z2Pro and will enhance the appearance of UUP and for sealants is a great product. Not bashing Z8 but I won`t use it over a carnuaba.

I have used Z8 over both S100 (P21S), and #16.... it works great, and really does add some gloss to the finish. I also once tried Z8 on it`s own on half of the hood of my truck (as in, I polished with ZPC and just sprayed the Z8 instead of putting any kind of protectant on).... it lasted ~2-3 weeks from what I could tell.
