Just had a 3500.00 paint job on my Reatta coupe and have the Klasse twins applied on the drop top. What is the best (if any) brand of windscreen washer fluid to incorporate that will not harm either the new paint or the Klasse please?

    Many thanks folks,

    Nic

That`s a good question...I`ll be interested in the answers...I think the problem with most washer fluids is they have alcohol in them to depress the freezing point.

Post up some pictures of your car somewhere! A Reatta was a pretty unusual one, I`m sure we`d all like to see one with a fresh paint job.

303 Windshield Tablets mixed with distilled water will not harm the paint or windshield wiper blades, and will not leave spots on the car.

Careful if you`re keeping the car in below-freezing conditions though, as the solution has a freezing point similar to water. I drained most of mine out for the winter.

Look at the labels closely. Some of them contain IPA which not only strips the wax/windshield protection but also can be harmful for certain low-quality fresh paint. I use 1Z products which contain no IPA, but MSDSs are your friends.

I have a client with a silver Lexus SC430. She had the armorglove paint protectant film put on the car, and one of the areas the armorglove technician did was the paintwork underneath the windshield washer spray nozzles.
