On their site, 303 states: "A surface treated with 303 Aerospace Protectant is water repellent (beads water). When the water repellency begins to diminish, reapply."

So how come I`m not seeing ANY signs of water beading on my vinyl/plastic? I freshly coated my interior yesterday w/303 exactly as the directions state and today when I got into my car during a light rain, none of the water that landed on my interior panels showed even the slightest hint of beading?

I think it may refer to outer surfaces?

I`m not crazy about 303 on any exterior parts. I find it running all the time no matter what prep and process I use.

GSRstilez, what do you like on the outside plastic trim?

The key with 303 is; to wipe it on wet, wait a while, and then wipe all the residue off. I have some new magnetic vinyl signs. It rained yesterday, and sure enough, the water was beeding just like fresh wax on paint. I am also beginning to like it on tires. To me, the tires stay black longer. I dont mean shiny black, just black.

I looked closer and saw the rain had washed the excess 303 out of the lettering and other `heavily textured` areas of the tire. I buffed them again with a lightly damp cloth and they have the look brwill2005 mentioned, not shiny, just a clean black look.
