I didn`t actually use this combo on a wheel...I used it on a stainless steel pan lid that my brother gave me. I`m moving out soon, and he gave me some cookware and stuff. This lid was disgusting. It was all covered with minerals or something.

Anyway, I used Mothers mag/aluminum polish with the wool "pad" attached to a drill. Excess polish was wiped off with a cotton towel. Here`s a couple pictures of the lid with part of it polished. I went over it three times.

Wow, man, You shure put alot of work into shining up a lid for a pot.

I can see putting that much time into my 4 wheeler but a pot?

I asked last week about polishing up my stainless 357, and somebody said it wouldn;t work. From what you did I think it would shine like all the chrome guns I see.

I`m glad you did that. It shows me the folks who claim to be experts here really arent.

Thanks. Im gonna go polish my gun up so we can go bust beer cans tomorrow.

I put a lot of work into it just because I was curious to see how it would turn out. I welcome challenges like that!
