my local Dollar Daze has this product there for $1.00 now. They had a rubbing compound and this http://shop.torresen.com/shipsstore/...d%20Boat%20Wax ...think the wax is worth a shot??? Heck, it`s only a buck!

I used to work in a boat shop about 20 years ago, and tried most of the Star-Brite stuff they had (polishes and waxes).

It was OK stuff, but not really great for either the results or the longevity.

However, for a buck, I don`t know that you`d go wrong.

(Use it for the mother-in-law`s car, and save the good stuff for your own)

Its a pretty harsh wax as it does contain lots of abrassiveness for a wax. I would not use this stuff for a clear coat car, but it works nice for a single stage paint. I use this stuff on my jetskis, and boat. It does not last long for a boat wax.
