I dont like this product. It leaves a glossy finish, and it attracts dust.

i want something that will give me a flat finish with no dust attraction. UV protection would be good also.

I`ll second that. If you are using it strictly on trim/ plastic engine parts, a water based product like 303 is good but it will wash off and potential leave a trail on the paint. For exterior use, Trimonex`s Trim-A-Shield sounds like an interesting, more permanent, coating type product but I`m unaware of anyone who has used it.

I honestly am of the belief that Trim Shine is a re-labeled can of More Shine Less Time Tire Dressing. I like either one for tires, though they don`t always last long.

Wouldn`t surprise me at all, formulas are so similar if not the same.

I think I was told from a rep at Stoners that they ARE the same. I`ve used them both, and while I agree that they don`t last too long at times, the convenience of using them is unmatched!

Is the Trim Shine can still a little smaller than the MSLT? Or do they both come in equal sizes now?

I guess I`m in the minority of those that like Trim Shine. :nixweiss

I alternate between AA and Trim Shine for my lower panels on my G35. It`s easy on, and lasts awhile for me. If it gets a little too much, simple buffing with a rag mf works for me.

I was able to nab 2 or 3 cans from Autozone for $1 a piece so that made me pretty happy.

I like Trim Shine for wheel wells. Just spray and walk away. No need to buff. It seems to dry fast. Most of the others I have tried don`t dry they need buffing.

There is also a Trim Shine bulk product that is definitely different chemically, but the look is the same so you still wouldn`t like it.

The best flat-looking product I`ve found is the new Meguiar`s Interior Quick Detailer, an OTC product that for $5 looks like you sprayed the original interior back into the car. For me, it has made 7 other cans and bottles of interior protectants (including 3 other Meguiar`s products) immediately obsolete.

You don`t like it? Send them to me, I`ll pay for shipping.

Just wipe the excess after a few minutes for a mate finish.

    Send them to me.

If it`s similar to 303 and other water based dressings, it will wash off and may leave streaks on the paint if rained upon.
