    I bought this stuff at the last Chicago Auto Show that is a Silicone based tire treatment. I`ve been reading mixed reviews about silicone based rubber treatments. Some even say that silicone based treatments will dry out the rubber.



    I was just wondering if someone can shed some light on Silicone based tire treatments and if they are safe to use.

    It`s a very popular subject of discussion here. I assume you mean the dimethal silicone oil ( clear) variety.
