Hello everyone,
I was just wondering what everyone does with the tags on the MF towels? Will they scratch the finish?
Do you pull them off?
Cut them off?
Or just plain leave them alone?
Thanks,

I rip them off so there isn`t any part of the tag left behind. So far so good, and it has never resulted in a pulled stitch.
Not every mf towel company makes them with tags.

Careful with this advice. While it has worked for me with certain microfibers, it has pulled the stitching from some of my high quality towels.
Using the scissors on my little red army knife, I carefully cut the tag as close to the stitching as possible. Usually it results in a 1/8" wide piece of tag being left behind under the stitching. Others go the extra mile and using an exacto knife, they carefully remove the remaining part of the tag.
i usally pull mines right off and dont bother the snich

My Pakshaks came without tags. I have some others that came with a tag that is made out of the same non scratching silk type microfiber as the border.
I cut mine off with scissors. I try to get as close as possible to the border, and whatever is left behind is secured behind the border.

So from what i take here , most of you cut them off. This is what i will be doing for safety. I dont want any extra scratch`s.
Thanks everyone,

I used to rip the tags off when I first stated buying microfiber. Then I noticed that sometimes the stitching would get damaged as a result. I then started to cut them off with a scissors with better results. I know buy microfiber with no tags at all. It`s a real pain when I buy 50 or so microfibers and have to dingle with removing the tags. If you`re really concerned about tags I would buy from a vendor that sells tagless towels.
