I ran into a claim elsewhere that went as such:

    From another board

fyi, S100 is basically the same stuff as P21S and it`s much cheaper

For users of either or neither, is this true?? I have no direct experience with either product.

Thanks in advance ladies and gents :xyxthumbs

P.S. I would love evidence, if that helps.

For all intensive purposes, yes. There are some slight variations but none that you are going to readily notice; none that make P21s worth $20 more.

This has actually been debated to death already. Rumor has it over here that it is the same. I suspect that it is a little different since S100 is a translucent yellow and P21S is white. As far as looks go, you`d be hard pressed to tell the difference and if you can, you are in an extremely small minority.

I got some S100 myself and I`m just not willing to pay twice the amount for P21S if only maybe one out of fifty people might be able to tell the difference, but that`s just me.

It`s a little different formulation but I only find P21S a little more rich looking on silver than S100. You can`t go wrong with either wax.

I like the whole P21S line-great gel wheel cleaner, great paint cleanser GEPC (highly recommended for whichever wax you decide on), and excellent polishing soap for metals.

I`ve seen no real evidence that the formulation is actually different; I`ve used both on silver and other colors, and to my eye there is NO difference in look or durability.

    No one really knows.

If you have the energy, do a search, and you`ll see that people have come to blows about this several times already..

But all of the threads are exactly the same..

    It all boils down to:

    No one really knows.

    Not true!

I called the manufacturer and he said that they were slightly different. so they aren`t EXACTLY the same but probably close.

There have been knowledgeable people in the business discuss the difference on RoadFly. It really is a different formulation. I use both a lot and P21S looks better to me.

There are those who think that Pinnacle products, Trade Secret, and S100 are closely related products.

I`m not saying I believe that, but it is what I read here.
