For Christmas my wife got me a PC (7336SP) and the machine kit from Meguiars that included #80, #83, #26, #16, velcro backing plate, pads and ultimate bonnets. I might have left some stuff out. Cannot wait to use the products. I am not crazy about #26 or #16. I will probably leave them on the shelf until someone sees them and is interested in them.

Heh heh, not crazy about #16? Man, I love the stuff

Be sure to work the #83 a *long* time, and before you use it, see if the #80 will do the job on its own. Work the #80 until it turns clear or pink.

Just curious, why don`t you like #16?

I`d take yours if you don`t want it but I have a full can, one that is nearly full and my Meguiars distributor only charges me $11 a can.

I took a liking to PS. I had a can a little while ago. I used it once and was not that impressed with it. I thought it was good but I liked PS better. I had no problem with removal. I thought it was quite easy. Left a good clear refelction too.

Hey, Bimmer, if you`re looking to get rid of that #16 I`ll take it off your hands. I`ve been wanting to give it a try for some time now but like you just fell in love with PS. The only problem with PS is it just about needs to be reapplied with every wash because it doesn`t last long at all.

JDookie after my short description to Scottwax I think I will hold onto my #16 for now. I remembered it is pretty good. Duability was excellent unlike PS. I will use it on clients cars and keep PS for my garage queen. Thanks for your interest.

Bimmer330- I sure won`t argue about the differences between PS and, well, anything Much as I like the Meg`s #16, *nothing* looks quite like Souveran; it`s the only thing I like on my XJS, for instance.

Oh, and thanks, but I won`t be needing any more #16 for this lifetime as I have a can and a half in the shop and a fresh case of 12 in storage
