    You can see the wheels I`m referring to in this thread: http://www.autopia.org/forums/showth...497#post419497



    I`m trying to find out if it would be okay to apply SG on those wheels, or if the heat would cause a negative effect. The last thing I want is for the SG to turn the chrome a different color due to the heat it will be subject to.



    Anyone have experience with this? Or does anyone recommend something better?

    Yeah, if anything KSG is better on chrome wheels than most product because it`s *not* affected much by heat. Some waxes soften when heated, enough that stuff from the brakes really sticks to/gets imbedded in it.

    I`m using 303 on my chrome wheels so the brake dust won`t stick to it.

    Okay, well good, that settles it. I`ll be applying a few coats of SG on those bad boys and hopefully this staining issue won`t happen again. I just wanted to make sure I wasn`t screwing up by using SG. Thanks guys!
