Hi Steve - !3 years old Miata SS paint



I am posting a picture for you - do I get 2.5 or 3?



DACP couln`t get all out the deep swirls.



I will be outside - no shade.



Please suggest.

I would suggest nothing stronger than SSR2.5 on a single stage paint, without the use of a rotary.

You may need to do a couple passes...maybe one with a cutting pad and the next with a polishing pad.

Also I am getting a makita 9227 - what do I use with it?

my site has just been updated and SSR2.5 is due in tomorrow, as well as a couple new products.



I would stick to polishing pads and 2.5 with the makita, until you are really use to it before going on to stronger products and pads.
