I think both of these products are the same abrasive wise, but would one work better than the other?

Does it have to be one of those two only? I`d vote for PI III MG, Menzerna FP or 1z MP
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.
I think it is six in one basket have dozen in the other with these two products. The SSR1 gets the nod from me only because it is a direct sun safe product.

My vote would be for 1ZPP or PI III MG
#9 - too many fillers
1ZMP - too mild
FP - too hard to work without a rotary
ssr1 - never worked with
JMHO
I`ve used #9 and recently SSR1.Both are weak when it comes to swirl removal. But as a follow up or a finishing polish I`d have to say SSR1 wins.No oils or fillers and ease of use make it a better product to use.

Yes.

I trashed my #9 long ago, I guess get the other one, hopefully less disappointment

Well, if it absolutely has to be one of those two I say do one door with one and the other door with the other and pick one.

I`m talking minor/very light scratches by the way.

I haven`t used #9, but found #82 similar to SSR1.
Meguiar`s stuff is easier to get but Poorboy`s smells nicer and produces perhaps just a tad better shine.
