I don`t know if Canada has a Lowes but you can get a PC there. It`s the 7336 though. It is the same thing as the 7424 besides the counterweight. I think it goes for $109 or so.

Yeah thats a god deal here in the US. I have not seen a 10 inch pad for the pc. I think you would want to stick with sizes 6, 6.5, or 7 inch pads. 7.5 inch pads or higher are usually used for a rotary.

oh so its better to stay smaller? Cause meguires has a cutting wool pad can I get somthing like that in a 6 or 7"? The reason I ask about meguires is cause I retail meguires products so I get it like really good price well wholesale.

I would not recommend a wool pad. They leave scratches of their own. The only thing I would use a wool pad for would be to remove a deep scratch that won`t come out with a foam cutting pad. If your looking for full car polishing with removing swirls and scratches then just go with foam pads. If you are lookin at meguiars then get some of their soft buff pads that are 6.5 and 8 inch pads.

I just got a PC from www.carcaresmart.com for under $200 and free shipping. They`re in BC so no customs or brokerage to deal with, and the PC was in my hands before most vendors would have confirmed my order... :up

Actually, In stuck here in the armpit of BC (the Kootenays). I`d expect to have to go to the Vancouver area, or to Calgary AB for training or anything like that...

Home Hardware also (used to anyway) sell the 7336, but prices may vary. The CarCareSmart deal is pretty decent since it includes shipping though, and you can order a bunch of other supplies from them while you`re at it.

No, as far as I am aware there is no detailing training available anywhere in BC.
