I just got an order of these pads in from CMA and my first impression is that the foam is even better than the old ones. The yellow and white ones seem to have a bit more bite to them. The new black one is nice and soft , should be nice for applying glaze. The red one is very soft , I don`t use the machine to apply my finishing product but I think this red one will be very nice for applying AIO and FTG. It`s also very nice to finally have the orage power pad in a larger size and it won`t cut like the the smaller ones did. I`ll be do a full test on these pads this week end full review to follow.

Are the faces on the pad any flatter or are they the same as the older LC pads?

Doug. (BUMP) Did you have time to use the new pads yet? I`m very interested in reading your review of the new constant pressure pads.
    Later ......

:up Yes how did the pads turn out? They seem interesting. I wonder if Meg`s will upgrade their pads since Edge / LC are upgrading.

Ok so I`m late on getting to this , sorry. I was busier than I thought.

Ok I tried all the different constant presure pads and here`s what I think , I still do not like the shape of these pads yes the keep splater down but there is just not enough pad touching the paint.

Does the new blue foam do anything , don`t know but it did seam that I could put more preasure down on the PC without it boging down. The greatest improvement on these pads is the foam itself. All the pads seem to be just a bit more agressive , all except the red one that is which is very soft and great for applying AIO. All in all I think these pads rate alittle better then the old VC pads but personally I don`t think the should have increased in price at all , not that much of an improvment. One thing that is very nice with these pads it the availabilty of the orange power pad in the 7.5 size , there was no cutting of the backing with this one. So there you have it , sorry for the wait.

    Happy now L33! j/k
